IT POURED FOR ME ON SATURDAY!!!!!

Sooo, my shower was Saturday at Meson Ole in Copiague and it was AWESOME!! I was sooo suprised and I had so much fun and got sooooo much great stuff!! I was really overwhelmed by the generosity of my family and friends, it was really perfect. I had thought I was going to my Aunt's 25th Wedding Anniversary, I got a fake invite and I even RSVP-ed, but it was my shower. My mom even had the FAKE invite on her fridge. Even though I though it was selfish of me to think they would use my Aunt's anniversary as a diversion, I had a little inkling something was going on and asked FH once or twice if it was a shower and he made up several lies to keep me from finding out, for example 'They didn't tell me when your shower is' then proceeding to flip out because he 'didn't know' and thought he should. He also told me this one 'i think it's soon but not now'. So he really had me going. Then, since I live in FH's parents house I was thinking as I'm driving to the party, I wonder where FH's mom is? So I asked FH 'where is your mother and why did the house smell like perfume??' HUH HUH?? And he told me she went DRESS SHOPPING with her best friend!! He even started in with 'is this a party for me?' on the way there!!! Even after seeing my Aunt who flew in from Florida to 'go to Boston' I didn't catch on. DUH...so dumb lol!! There was such deception involved in getting me to this party it was awesome!! I'm so glad it was a suprise tho because I'm not good a faking it . lol. Anyway they threw it at Meson Ole because I LOVE mexican food and there's is my favorite!! My aunt made me the most delicious homemade Oreo cake and everyone involved did such a fantastic job!!! We ate and laughed and drank many margaritas! I couldn't have asked for anything better!! At the end of the night it took 2-1/2 cars to get all the stuff home and I swear FH almost passed out at the sight of it all. My sister from Las Vegas also flew in as a suprise and I haven't seen her in years so that was emotional but it was soooo great to see her. Anyway, the service at Meson was fabulous and I'll never forget how much fun I had!!!

Also, I got the REAL invitation to my Aunts Anniversary party at the shower and it's on Sunday. HaHa.

yeah....she dropped off the face of the earth apparently she just flat out stopped calling and answering calls (i'm assuming it's because she got engaged and now she doesn't need to live vicariously thu me)

.....but you know what I DON'T CARE!!!! I mean I care because she was my friend but she stressed the hell out of my entire family with the crap she pulled and that's just not okay, ya know.

That's the short version
