Marisa..I'm sorry your shower didn't go as well as it should have. It sounds to me like you have a fantastic MOH.

OH Marissa I just saw all of your posts and I'm so sorry it didn't go the way you had hoped! I hope your FSIL can get it together by your wedding day. Try to focus on all the people who were there for you today. I hope things get better!

I'm sorry it didn't go as you had hoped! Maybe your Fh can talk to his sister and just tell her that you noticed something was up at the shower and that she should try to make it less obvious at the RD and wedding. It is your day after all! Reguardless of what happens, don't let anyone spoil your day.

Im sorry about the drama but to their credit they sorta tried to keep you out of it.

After I posted all that, I actually talked to my mom, who ended up filling me in on everything. I am glad I had her do it first, b/c if I'd had my MOH or FSIL do it, their emotions would've been in the telling of it and it would've probably came out much harsher. Now that I know what really went on during the planning of my shower and all, I actually feel a little better - weird, I know. I didn't expect that but whatever. I will have my MOH give me her 'spin' on things later today when I talk to her again.

Sadly, I won't have pics to post until at least tonight or even tomorrow (Tues)!!!! Unless some people email them to me during the course of the day - in which case of course I will post!

i'm so sorry you had to deal with this!! 'And your poor MOH .. i'm sure she was super upset that it didn't go as planned for you and she def tried to do the right thing by avoiding confrontation on your special day. and Shame on those that felt the need to start things. I'm sorry things turned out that way for you

Oh I'm so sorry there was more drama with your MOH and FSIL. I'm glad you feel better after talking with your mom. And a nice talk with your MOH will really help too. I'm so sorry.

Oh, it's never going to happen and I am WELL aware of that. The only reason I am gonna talk to my MOH is to hear her side of things. Because I really only know FSIL's side and she exaggerates everything!!! My mom talked to my MOH a LOT and was able to give me some insight. I really can't worry about the RD and wedding day for the next 2 months or else I'll be living on Xanax LOL!
