It starting to flurry over here at Levittown.

It feels pretty cold out there. I Hope it dosent get too bad. I know even with an inch of snow on the roads traffic will be a mess later!! Iam not lookinf foward to the commute later. I live 30 miles away and last year it to me 3 hours to get home one day!

i honestly don't think there's going to be as much snow as some stations are predicting. Most of the time they make things seem SOOO much bigger than they actually are (I guess because people need SOMETHING to talk about. lol).

At least over here in Suffolk Country, I've read that we're really only supposed to get rain & snow today, an inch or two tomorrow and another inch on Sunday. So I don't know why other weather forecasts say something like 6-8. That's a big difference! Maybe upstate, but I'll be surprised if it gets crazy over here, especially since it's only December. Maybe if it was February I'd expect it little more. Who knows. Either way - i hope the road conditions are okay and everybody dries carefully & stays safe.

Yeah I agree the weathermen ar nuts how can one station predict 1-3 inches and another 5-8??? They are just nuts i tell you!! LOL. They want us all to go out and buy stuff, like snow shovels and ice melt and snow blowers. Maybe they think it wil help our economy!! LOL

ahahaha!!! You might be onto something! It's an evil conspiracy! Trying to make us freak out and buy everything we could possibly need in life (including food & bottled water once they start making us fear getting snowed in. lol.) It's ridiculous.
I honestly think there will be just a touch of snow. Maybe a couple inches, but nothing crazy. Only time will tell, I guess!

Drive safe either way!! I hate how slippery the roads get with even a touch of ice. I get all freaked out sometimes and I only work 10 minutes away. I remember once it took almost a whole hour. I can't even imagine for somebody like you who has to drive 30 minutes normally.

SNOWING IN JERSEY!!! YAY! LoL! They closed almost all the school here in Bergen County today.. It better snow ALOT! My son needs a good reason to be home...

It's snowing here in West Islip. It started out as little flakes around 10:45 but now it's really coming down!!!!
