please tell me about your favors..... my mom is giving us such a hard time. We were originally going to do cordial glasses.... but she doesnt like them. my escort cards are bottles of limoncello so im trying to stay with the whole 'alcohol' theme. I was looking up decanters as well but i keep hitting dead ends....

Thoughts???? FH absolutely loves these.... i need to convince my mom that 4 is more than enough.... and a set does not need to be 6!!! pray for me! LOL

LOL to you name-dropping Mikasa. Totally what my sister gave!!! I'm not better, I'm giving a really fancy little sugar bowl that can also be a grated cheese bowl. It's adorable but it's gonna cost me an arm and a leg. Still, it's nothing compared to the generous gifts I will receive. I keep telling myself that!!!

Then everyone goes home and talks about how BEAAAUUUTIFUL the favors were. I went to a wedding last year and they didn't have enough espresso sets for each person, only one per couple. People in my family still talk about it. I wonder what they are going to say about me when there are no Mikasa products to bring home.

this is hilarious because our parents are stressing us too. My parents are spanish his are Italian and greek so trust me i get your stress! lol
When we told her we were doing donations and fall leaf soaps my mother was speechless. she didnt even 'get' the whole donation thing lol
anyway,
we are def. doing the jordan almonds in tulle with name ribbons and she has grrown to love my cute fall leaf soaps.
BUT just yesterday my aunt left the south america and she was like 'you know, she CAN bring back some gorgeous favors' i was like 'no MOM! lol lol

wait i reread the original post and wouldnt the bottle of limoncello count as a favor? im italian too so i get the importance of favors, but a bottle of limoncello is a pretty sweet favor in and of itself. does your mom not consider the limoncello as a favor?
ETA how about sticking with the lemon theme and doing lemon cookies or a small lemon cake
