All the ladies I know getting married next year...that are friends and family...are like in competition with me.... soo it'll be nice to have girls that are NICE and you can COMPARE rather then compete! HA

OMG truer words were never spoken!! What is it w/some girls and competing?!? Guys don't do that stuff!! I find it so annoying & exhausting when girls are like that! It's so nice to meet a group of girls to share stuff with, instead of feeling like you're standing next to a measuring stick all the time!

Ok, get this... my FHs cousin was engaged since June last year...they talked about getting married in Nov with Dark Red as the color. So, naturally once I got engaged in Dec of last year, we talked about a good date..and May seemed to work out best... When I shared it with the family on Christmas...she BUGGED that SHE wanted to get married in MAY...sooo.I changed it to April...and then she changed it to June! Ok... then... she yelled at me that I can't have blue in my wedding. I'm like..NOO...I'm dong blue AND purple no matter WHAT you say... HAHA...
Then after she didn't talk to me for like 3 months...they moved the wedding back to Sept. b/c they can't afford it! Ooops... HAHA

Hey what is the deal w/the GTG? I never went to one? When is the next one? Where are they usually? I'd love to meet you lovely ladies that I spend so many hours chatting with, haha.

I don't know...we should think of where to have the next GTG. Usually they are at a restaurant and we all would meet up at a certain time and just chat and drink! FUN!!! lol

I wish I was able to go to the bridal shower all the 09ers did...I was too new of a poster and chickened out...But all the pics look sooo fun!!

And I didn't even know about the 09ers shower. I was probably too knew when they had it since I just started with this site a couple of months ago. I've become a junkie in short order though, lol

Listen to this...FH and I got engaged in 2006 and we were planning our wedding in May 2009. As soon as we get engaged and planned our wedding, all of the people we know who never believe in marriage decided to get engaged and get marry. What da heck? I am like 'i thought you don't believe in marriage?' All of a sudden.....?

It's like they think that you are getting married..they should as well. Ok..sounds like a divorse waiting to happen... shouldn't get married for ANY reason except love...simple concept I always though! lol

Don't get me wrong, I would've worked w/her to make sure it wasn't on the same weekend, but she doesn't have a monopoly on a month!! And why can't you have the same colors? I so hate that stuff. That's why I only have a small group of good female friends. After growing up w/two older brothers, I so can't stand all the drama some girls cause w/that competing stuff. It's like who cares if someone has more than you. Maybe they started from a different place in life. You can't possibly compare yourself to someone else b/c everyone's life & experiences are different. The only person I compete with is Me. I would've told her that if she didn't like you having hte same colors then she could feel free to change hers. Good for you for not changing your colors! How rude & presumptuous!

I know. FH and I were planning our wedding and then next thing I know was people from my job telling me that they are getting marry as well. Then they got marry before us (couple of weeks ago)...then they said that we copy them. What da heck?

Dani....I will be so hapy if I ever make it to 500 posts (I seen some of these girls....My god....more than 5000 posts?...How did they do that?) LOL

Well...as for the dates..I wanted may 9th...then she had the weekend after...and we both decided to more it a month more apart so we wouldn't put a strain on the family...since she would be marrying FHs cousin. There was a TON of drama then, but it's all good now. I just make sure to HIDE ALL of my wedding projects when she's due to come over !!! HAHAHA

And, since my wedding is first...I can see if she copied me just to bust her balls!!! HAHAHAHA

HAHAHA...You'll get there I'm sure. I still can't belive i'm this close to 4k! Feels like yesterday I was jumping around the room with FH thinking I was on crack b/c I got 1k!! TEE SHIRT TIME I was yelling!! HHAHAHA. I'm a nut!!

You make sure you hide all the projects....I would. I hate when someone copy my idea.
