It's 3am and I am done wrapping presents... does anyone else....

Damm I had a lot to wrap. I still am waiting for an item or two in the mail to wrap... but I am pretty much done.

Does anyone else out there sort of not care for the 'wrapping presents' part of xmas?

I am one of those people that see the professional gift wrappers at the mall... and do think twice about paying them just to wrap presents. But with the amount of gifts I had to wrap... it would probably cost me close to $100 buks to wrap everything.

But hey... I do think about it so I won't have to do it. I am a LOUSY wrapper. Hell I remember last year around this time... I saw people advertising on craigslist 'I will wrap your presents'... and they were really cheap! Some people will do anything for work.

Call me a scrooge... I enjoy the 'buying and giving' part of xmas... just dont care for the wrapping.

anyway, i used to LOVE wrapping. i was the dorky little girl who used to go down inot the basement and play my x-mas music and wrap gifts for hours!!! i paid so much attention to bows and tags. i even made myself a name tag (for all the invisible shoppers that needed my wrapping skills). but now...ugh...i'm with ya!!!

I hate wrapping too.. it takes too long.

I'm gonna go to the 99 cent store to pick up some tissue paper and Christmas/holiday bags. Last year took me like 4-5 hours to finish. So I made a resolution to cut down on that time by putting it in those 'present' bags.

The big stuff still needs wrapped but I should cut down wrapping time a lot.

Definitely use bags...they are essential this time of year...minimul wrapping.

I used to love it too, but this yr it just seems like a pain.

For all you fellow gift baggers, the store Amazing savings has a package with a bunch of bags and coordinating tissue paper for $4.99 - it was at least 6 bags, really cute ones too, and pretty big. I bought 2 packages

If I have the time I like to do it & make it all pretty with tissues & ribbons & such.

2004 is a gift card christmas in my world though, so my wrapping energy will be reserved for grandpa's shirts.

Honestly, the actual paper part is what I'm not good at. DH does that. He is better with the even & flat & all. I nore about the embelishments.

I love wrapping, but this year doesnt feel like Christmas. I think I did 3 gifts so far. Got tons more

Sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't..I usually try to 'Gift bag' most of my gifts...
It's easier than wrapping..

Yeah thats what I noticed. Either you are REALLY INTO wrapping presents.... or you just can't stand it.

There is no middle ground here.

I HATE wrapping gifts! The funny thing is that DH is really good at it, but would rather hand someone a gift in the shopping bag it came in. However, when I ask him to wrap something, he does a 100% better job than I do!

If I really had the time and the energy during this crazy season, I would definitely enjoy it. However, I am usually pressed for time and have so many gifts to do at once!!! Pretty annoying Christmas Eve tradition.
