FH and i went looking at florists yesterday and it just shows you that these places mark up their prices sooo much!
one florist we went asked what our budget was.. so i said we would like to be under 3000.
so he added everything up and said it came to $3950 and then took some $ off (wihtout us even saying anything) and it came to 3100 and then says - ill match your budget at 3000. Now come on!!!! it just sickens me because of course he is STILL MAKING money off this deal but is telling me that it WOULD be 3900?
has anyone experienced something like this.
we went to 3 places and they all quote you such different amounts for the same thing

It is such an indistry. Its all SMOKE and MIRRORS, the entire business, its a joke.
You go into a salon to get your hair done a certain way, its 65 bucks. You go into the SAME salon, tell them its for your wedding, and suddenly the SAME hairstyle is 130.

This happened to me. I went to Flowers by Brian, got a quote from them then went to another well known florist, and they quoted about 2000 dollars more...I looked at the girl and I told her that amount was way too much. I even told her what I wanted, and she kept asking me how I knew certain flowers. She even asked me to see the contract. They did lower the price a bit I was still not getting everything that Flowers by Brian had given me...
