At what age 'should' people get married??

I'm 32 and I love that I'm getting married in my 30's.

I can't imagine having gotten married from 18-26. I think I would be divoirced by now. That was a time when I grew into myself more and defined myself. My focus was solely on me and my goals during that period of my life.

I think from 27- when i found FH I was more grounded and open to the possiblity of sharing my life with someone. I also was open to the fact that I might not ever marry if I didn't find the person I thought was my person..but I did

I was actually engaged twice before in my younger years. Oh I thought I was really smart, mature, knew what I wanted, knew where I was going. But just like you said, my focus was solely on me and my goals!

I turned 26 just a few months before my wedding in November. I don't think you can set a certain age that you should be before you get married. I think it totally depends on the person. My sister got married when she was 19, they just bought their first house this past year and also had a baby this past year too (she's now 23) and I have never seen her happier than she is today. For me personally, I could not have gotten married at that age because frankly, I was not at all mature enough and not in that mindset yet.

THE BIG 2-6!!!!!! I was 25 when I got married (just 2 months shy of 26..) and we lived together for 4 1/2 years prior to getting married- as Peg said- VERYYY important thing to do!

I'm 30 and I will be 31 when I get married.
I'm so happy to be getting married at my age. I feel this is the right time for me.

I am 25 and will be 27 years and 4 days old when I get married. What a week that will be! I think that your maturity level plays a big part of when you should get married as well as what you want out of life. If you haven't figured out what you want to do with yourself then how in the world can you start a life with someone else? Although I think 17, 18 years old is rather young BUT that is JMO!

I am 32 and will turn 33 a month after I am married! It was so sad to be 2nd to last on that poll list I feel so old!!!!!

I am 29, I always said that I wanted to be married before I was 30. Well my dream is coming true by 4 days. I will spending my 30th Birthday is Sandals Jamaica. WOO HOO!!

I am 24 and will turn 25 two weeks after I get married. I don't think there is a 'right' age. I think it is different for everyone.

I was 22 when i first got engaged and ill be 24 when i get married...i dont think there is a 'right' age..it really depends on the couple.

I am 28 and will be getting married a week before my 29th birthday. getting married is a very personal thing, i think it doesn't depend so much on age but more on maturity and financial stability.
