It's been done, but what are you paying for and getting with your DJ?
Just curious to see what prices are out there, as well as the packages other DJ's provide. I'm excited that I booked my DJ on Friday (another thing done within 2 weeks of engagement! lol ) but a friend is asking for prices and I don't know of any...can you help? Thanks. FM me if you don't want to post.

I am using FM Entertainment. For a little over 1100, I am getting the DJ, MC, for 5 hours (reception and CH) and upgraded lighting. I think we may end up adding the plasma tvs so we can display pictures of us, but thats an extra $500. Still a lot less than most other places though.

I think we payed $2,500 from Tommy Tunes. that included dj and mc for 5 hrs. Cocktail hr. music. 1 extra lighting and a live percussionist for 5 hrs.

under 1500 for DJ and MC for 4 hours, sax player for cocktail hour, some giveaways (for the kids), and the name spotlighted on the floor.

Yes they are. They are a vendor on here. Try doing a search for them. I was debating between FM and Unlimited Entertainment (our house dj) and i did a poll asking which everyone recommended. A large majority voted for FM.

i am getting for 5 hours a DJ and MC 12 lights ... a video screen, he takes 150 -200 pictures of our guests and displays them and gives us a cd of all them a cd of our songs , a smoke machine (if we want it) oh and a baby photo montage thing of us ... all of this for 1500 .... let us entertain you ... is the name of the company

Were using Elite Entertainment (103.5) and were spending $1895.. We get 5 hours package, ceremony music, Intelligent lighting, 1 DJ 1 MC.. Spotlight Dance, Dry Ice Machine, and additional equipment because our RH is pretty large.

I am using Bravura Entertainment and paying $2500 for 6 hours, lighting, dj, mc, and percussionist.

I'm using Party Up Productions, and getting 5 hours DJ and MC, music for the ceremony, music for cocktail hour, light show, projection screen with montage and a separate camera man taking candid shots and displaying them all night. This is all for $1250, but, I know the owner of the company....

i am using party time entertainment for 1200 we are getting six hours of music(cocktail hour and vienesse) karaoke (if we choose to have it its already included in the package) giveaways for the kids upgraded lighting dj and an mc i think something else im forgetting.

I'm using Starlight Express, we're getting a 5 man show: ( 1 ) DJ ( 1 ) MC ( 1 ) Percussionist (to accent the music the DJ plays) ( 1 ) Zap photographer ( 1 ) Lighting Coordinator
- Light Columns (not sure exactly how many 6 or 8. - Plasma TV's - Zap photographer going around our cocktail hour, the bridal suite and reception taking pics and displaying them on the plasmas. - Give Aways

We're using SoundCheck Entertainment (a Russo's house vendor) and we're getting a one man DJ for $800.00 (ceremony music and 4 hour reception - we don't need CH music because Russo's provides that).
