its my own fault ...

i was going to book our honeymoon (excellence playa mujeres in the roof top terrace room) two weeks ago ... i didnt and NOW the price went up $800!!! I am soooo upset with myself. I had gotten an amazing price and now its not the price we wanted to pay! AHHH .. i dont know if i should give up my roof top terrace and just get a swim out room or if i should start looking at different resorts? and then i have FH telling me who cares how much it costs, its our honeymoon haha sooo im confused and lost. (and then i think well we are spending sooo much money sooo whats another $800 right? well its still $800) Help! what would you do?

SOUNDS VERY NICE WHERE YOUR GOING..IS THAT MEXICO?

The roof top terrace sounds absolutely amazing...I mean I guess it depends..if you can squeeze in the 800 and not be struggling then go for it since you only get 1 honeymoon but if its going to really put a hole in your pocket use that 800 somewhere else and go with the pool.

well how many nights are you guys going for? even 8 nights is $100 a night - i would shop around with travel agents.. what i did was after we signed our contract for 6 nights ($4494) there have been a few sales and I called our travel agent (we bought the trip insurance) and they cancel your trip and rebook it at the discounted rate.. we have saved a bunch of money so far.. i check that website once a week .. it may be $800 more now.. but if you can get a great savings package in between now and when you leave for your HM.. big deal.. only go on your HM ONCE

i know its a steep increase, and it *****, but if its the place you really want - you should do it, you only get to do this once, you dont want to regret not going!

I think that it is your ONLY HM so go for it. Maybe you can do a HM registry and see if some of your guest will puchase the upgraded room.

mich it might go down again, you never know.

btw....we're booking our HM through american express.com - it's like $500 cheaper than anywhere else. You don't have to have an AMEX card to book it, try to price it through them, they have great deals -- you never know...
