It's never easy

And it stinks because everyone is still congratulating me about the shower yesterday and calling and saying I must be so happy.... I cried on the phone to everyone so far....

I'm sure they wished they didn't call...

He had to leave because it wasn't doing well - all the employees had to find other jobs (including his ex-wife - who still worked there until last year)

It got to the point where employees couldn't cash their checks....

This is a very hard business....

Everytime I post my stupid shower bonnet picture comes along with it.... What a contrast from yesterday, huh?

ohh :( tons of your way!! I have tears in my eyes because i feel so bad. Hang in there! It could only get better from here.

He has to give money for his 9 yr old's day camp - its a cheap camp to begin with and she has gone every year - so did his older duaghter who is a counselor there now....

Thanks Roxy - he will - like I said, unfortunately, we've been there and done that this past fall.... luckily we learned that unemployment comes rather quickly - he's been in this job since November - so he's eligible, right?

I'm wondering if we'll be able to get our wedding rings now afterall....

Sorry - I know now I'm probably writing to no one now - this is such a downer and no one wants to deal with this when they have exciting things on their monds... its just so hard surrounded with all the gifts from the shower yesterady... and I feel like I really don't have anyone to talk to....

we are here... supporting each other in good and bad times!!!!!

But I promise you after all the hard knocks that you will have it will get better. Its a test that you are being thrown into....and you will make it thru!!!

after a while, you have to wonder - is there some test I havent passed yet?

I mean, I've really been thru so much in my life - I'm 32 - I just wanted a small break just to enjoy being engaged - I thought the hard times come after you are married....
