Well FH went back to MI on tuesday and he got to see the new apt yesterday (got a 2 bedroom so FH can have a study to do his work in) and they tell him he can switch apts as of the 13th - so I will be moving some of my stuff around the 16th then completely moving on the 20th!
I have so much to do and a lot of people I want to see before I go! UGH I feel so overwhelmed - and I have to wait a few more days to start packing until DR gives me OK to start lifting things again (still have headaches from the surgery).

Good luck in Michigan! I grew up there and have some fond memories. What area are you moving to? I grew up in Birmingham, north of Detroit and we spent lots of time in northern Michigan at a cottage on Lake Huron or Skiing near Gaylord.
If you have a chance between September and December I highly recommend a visit to the Franklin Cider Mill (if it's still there) in Franklin, MI. I think it was a little West of Birmingham. Best cider donuts in the world and the fresh cider is good too.

Karen H I will be asking a ton of questions! I will be moving to Lansing - so anything you know about it let me know - I would LOVE to hit the cidar mill you will have to tell me where it is!
Today I was asking a question on the wedding channel and I ran into a girl who just moved to Lansing from DC and she actually moved into the same complex that we will be living in (FH already lives there just different apt).

thank you ladies - I have promised myself after my birthday tomorrow I will start packing. I still trying to find a moving company - they all tell me - either they won't go to MI or they only take 10,000 pounds
