It's official....I HATE FMIL!!!

I've made it clear...crystal clear that one only one child is invited to my wedding. That is FH's 9 year old nephew and Jr Best Man. FH's mom just called up and said 'Aren't you excited that XXXXXX's baby is going to be at the wedding?' We just found out that FH's cousin is pregnant. The baby will be 3 months old...I'm not having an infant at my wedding......PERIOD. It's not like they can't get a babysitter for the night. His cousin's husband has family that can watch them. FH said to her 'Kids aren't invited to the wedding. (FOLLOWED BY SILENCE)...can I talk to you about this later?' And then he hung up on her.

Now I have to go see the evil bit@H at 6:30 before we go to a Christmas party at a friends house. I'm just goint to say to her....'There are no kids allowed, that is it. If they can't come because they don't want to leave the baby with his mother, then they shouldn't come.'

I am so aggrivated by this. I told her months ago I needed a final list of who she wanted to invite...then she assked 6 more last week. She is only paying for the recearsal dinner and was pissed because we told her to go for the open bar not a cash bar.

I just can't stand her.......

Well to fill everyone else in a bit...Jeff and I just had a discussion. He is going to call his cousin directly and explain the situation to her. We felt that the sincerlty would get 'lost in translation'. THen he is going to talk to his mom and tell her the deal.

oh man id be furious too!!! stand your ground chica!!!! i feel the same way, NO KIDS ALLOWED!!! especially not INFANTS who could start crying and whatnot in the middle of speeches or dances! ( mind you I love kids, i personally dont see them belonging at a wedding unless they are in your bridal party)

I can't imagine hating my FMIL. That must make life SO hard. It's bad enough when you don't like a brother's girlfriend or something.

She succks Amanda. Maybe you can suffocate her somehow. I'll watch CSI like it's my job and come up with the perfect crime for you.

Aww thanks sweetie!!! And yes, if you can take CSI notes I'd appreciate it. She never makes anything easy. Last year called my holiday traditions stupid. And here is the kicker.....When I showed her a pick of me in my dress she said and I quote...'Oh my God it's so pretty...But how are YOU going to look in it?' I said 'That is me in it.' Her response 'Wow, I would have never known.'

She is just mean.
