Hi Ladies!!! How are you all? Well, it's time to let the truth be told. Pat and I cancelled our wedding. It happened on Christmas Eve. Yes, it took me a while to spill the beans. I just wanted to make sure that I was OK before posting. I wasn't too sure I was even going to say anything...I just didn't want to keep lying to those kind girls that FM'd me.
It's a long story but in the end, Pat and I wanted 2 very different things out of life. As far as a career, raising a family, location, finances and a few other things. We will try to remain friends because in the end...we obviously really care about eachother but I will be the first to admit that it has been hard.
Don't want to get too personal or throw any dirt on his name because he is a good man...just not for me as a husband. Life takes it's turns and things happen. It's what we make out of the plates we are served that show what type of person we are. I like to think of myself as a strong person so that is exactly what I have been...Strong!
To those girls that I told in January...thank you for your kind words of support, your welcoming words and your secrecy. I am eternally grateful!
Instead of saying that you are sorry for my situation...just welcome me back and let's plan all of your beautiful weddings!!!! My day will come and I am comforted in knowing that I have all of you to help join me when the time does come.

Stacy, you've expressed yourself perfectly. You already know that you have made the right decision. It's great to have you back. I've been there myself and, while it's not an easy decision, I can recognize that you are confident in what you have decided.

I told you this before, but I absolutely admire you for taking the necessary steps with your relationship. Not many people would have been wise, or brave, enough to escape such a big part of their lives. I commend you for & Pat for knowing what was right for the both of you, and taking the time to make sure that you guys weren't making a mistake.

Welcome back Stacy! I have a friend in a similar situation and now she always says that she's so happy that she's living the life that she would have otherwise missed out on.

I am so glad you made the right decision on what is best for you and your future. Just because you love someone, doesn't make him the best partner to spend the rest of your life with. It takes a lot of courage and strength to go through what you did and believe me, when the right person for you comes along all of this craziness will make sense.

I will say it stinks that you had to go through this but ya know, it sounds like it was for the best!!!!! And when you're ready to meet and date again, lets us know. It takes real strength and knowledge of self to do what you did...too many go through with the marriage to please everyone but themselves, or to save themselves from being 'embarrassed'...but there's no shame in doing the right thing, even though that very thing amy be the hardest.
