What color shirts are your GM and FH wearing? I was going to go with an ivory shirt but I was just on the knot and they were saying that the GM shirts in ivory could look dirty.

I wore an ivory dress with a diamond white veil (gasp!!), my DH wore an off white shirt and a different shade ivory tie, and the GM all wore white shirts with tan and white and orange striped ties. It all looked fine. No one has EVER mentioned the million shades of white I had
You can't even tell in this pic that my dress and veil are 2 different colors, but I promise you, they are!

My dress was ivory and DH and the dads and groomsmen wore ivory shirts. They matched really well. you can see pics in my album.
The tux place is the one that brought it up to me first and when I said my dress was ivory they took it from there.

The tux place asked what color my dress was and then stated that the guys will be ivory as well. When FH put on the shirt, he and I both agreed it looked dingy, but then he put the vest and coat on, and it looked gorgeour. Honestly if you don't match, no one but us neurotic girls would notice.

FH will wear a white shirt with ivory vest/tie. GM will be wearing brown vest/tie

My dress is ivory and butter rum. My FH and GM are wearing black tuxes with black shirts. My FH is wearing the ivory vest and tie and the GM are wearing the cinnamon vest and tie. The Dads are wearing black tuxes, ivory shirt and black vest and tie. This is what the tux place recommended.

I thought that the shirt only looks dirty when compared to your dress...meaning that if your dress is stark white and his shirt is ivory, then his shirt would look dirty and vica versa.

The TUX guy we went to advised us that it would look awesome if the FH would wear an irvory tie and ivory shirt. And as far as the GMs go they are wearing the stock color the tux comes it. It brings in a nice contrast between the FH and the GM

my dress is ivory, and FH is wearing an ivory shirt with an ivory vest. It looks good on him, but I am a little worried about how the GMs will look with ivory shirts and wine colored vests. I didn't want them to wear white though because I don't want my dress to look dirty next to them. My FMIL actually bought the flower girl a white dress, but she ended up exchanging it for an ivory one because we decided that it would look funny if the flowergirl was in white while the rest of the bridal party was in ivory. At least my reception hall has ivory tableclothes so I don't have to avoid sitting down all night!

My dress was very ivory. All the guys involved wore ivory shirts. They looked fab. Lots of pics in my review.
