Jack & Rose

Who's using J&R for their flowers? Your experiences? Have you met with Patty, one of the designers? Please share.

I did not meet with them so I probably shouldn't say anything but I was told by someone I trust not to use them.

do a search for them on here, a number of brides have had comments on them.

I used Jack & Rose. I have to tell you, I was a little nervous after hearing some reviews. I worked with Jack.

But I could not have been happier on my wedding day. The flowers were amazing! My only 'complaint' was that my bouquet was so much heavier than I imagined. It was just so beautiful and full. My bouquet was red roses and my BM carried cream roses. My CP were red roses.

I also had a friend of the family come with me to my design session. She is a party planning and has been dealign with weddings for 20 somewhat years. She could not believe what I was getting for what I paid. It was a very good deal.

i can only speak for my pre wedding experience thus far, but it has been amazing, jack is awesome, and so into what he does. definitely do a search, you'll see everyone's opinions, both good and bad.

I also want my bouquet to be red roses (black magic to be exact) and I want my centerpieces with red roses as well. Can you post or FM me some pictures of your flowers, if it's not too much trouble. I want to get an idea of Jack's work. We booked him b/c we liked what we saw at his showroom and he gave us a good price. He also did my sister's wedding, but her flowers and color scheme were totally different from what I want (she did an all white/cream theme)...

I met with Jack and Rose last night. I was so impressed by him that I booked him today. I got so much for the price that he offered me. I went to 5 places and no one could compare to him.

i met w/jack this past weekend, and he gave me the lowest price out of 5 florists that i checked out. one of my friends used him for her wedding this past summer and was very pleased w/his work. although there have been negative posts about him, i would figure out what exactly their complaints were, and address those with jack. good luck!

J&R is one of the recommended florists from my reception hall. I received a courtesy call from their business to offer their services. You will always have people that do not like or love certain vendors. I think you need to visit a few places as everyone have different tastes and different ways as how they want CP's and everything else set up. I also read many bad reviews on here and decided that I really did not want to have any doubts or extra worries on my wedding day.
Another deciding factor for me was that as I viewed their website, I see that they used a lot of greenery to fill their centerpieces and I do not like that. Hence I did not bother to even contact or visit them.

we booked jack the day after we met...we loved him....we have our design session in 2 weeks...i would trust them...

We used jack and rose for our flowers and they did an amazing job!
we loved working with jack and had complete faith that he would do a great job.
yes, there has been some controversy surrounding jack....but i loved having him as my wedding florist!

it took FOREVER to just get a hold of someone to make an appt.
Once i met with him and immediately knew he was NOT the one for me...

yes he was the lowest price but that should necessarily be the deciding factor!

check the BBB before using any vendors. even one bad mark in MY opinion is too many for the amount of money we are spending on our weddings to take any chances with less then perfect quality. Peace of mind means a LOT!

we used him and loved him....right around the time everyone was having their issues on here and there was a whole hoopla on the board which i missed.

we had a wonderful experience and i would use them again in a second. i would reccomend that you and dh look at vendors and see how they make you both feel, as was already stated there are good and bad reviews on almost every vendor out there! also, its good to have a few comparisons, too, to give perpsective! good luck!
