James Cress Closed!!

Hi brides to be!
If anyone is/was using James Cress Florist in Smithtown, they have closed their doors!
I found out Friday afternoon, and now have to locate another vendor!

Well if you notice, this is their first post so that's fishy right there and I live in smithtown and have not noticed any change with James Cress so i don't think anyone should worry

People really need to get a life. Why would you possibly want to get people scared that their florist closed.

it is true. there is a sign on the front door saying that they 'retired.' However, the word about town is that they went bankrupt.

I live in Smithtown and didn't believe this post when I saw it. So FH and I decided to go to James Cress today and check it out. It turns out they are closed with a sign posted on the front door stating they are officially retired. They also wrote that all pre-paid customers may knock on the door and pick up there order.

And their message on their phone does not say they retired.

Also, even if the Smithtown office is not open anymore there is another office in Port Jefferson so I would just call them if you are using them and make sure there is no issues.

I'm sure there won't be any issues with any brides using them because of the Port Jeff store. I just thought it was weird because we use James Cress for most of our floral arrangments. FH was actually pretty upset when he saw the sign. He said where am I going to get your V-Day flowers now.
