Bring it on!

ah--you did see this:

on the new trains..in a two seater is this woman sitting with her packages on the seat and her purse (sack). I ask to sit next to her and she scoots over a bit.

She keeps her packages and purse next to her and does not move them or put them on the floor or on the rack. So the packages are sandwiched between her and the wall. She is not a skinny girl. Neither am I.

This makes the seat a very tight fit. These seats are tight to begin with. She doesn't move and neither do I. I'm getting off first though. She is obviously not a commuter.

I mention to her that it would make for a more comfortable ride if her purse and packages were kept on her lap etc..

She doesn't want to do it..she is emphatic.

I proceed to think about all the ways in which I could murder her without going to jail.

I had this happen once before in a 3 seater. The girl next to me put her bag in between us. She would periodically pull it out of the crevice and take something out of it and them jam it back in.



I don't know how much more I can take of this.

I so hate people who don't know the unwritten rules of riding the train.

I hate that feeling of having someone else's butt up against mine!

This goes with the one who wanted her friend to sit in the 3 seater with the other 3 people.

I remember that one!
I hate when strangers touch me.

I had to take the greyhound bus to north carolina.

I had this big fat woman eating fried chicken in the seat next to me. I can still remember that after nine years.

really? When I asked the conductor to ask another rider to lower her IPOD he did nothing. I could hear her IPOD from the back of the train..at least 7 rows back.

What's with that??? What's the purpose of earphones?

I'd like to be on the courtesy patrol - I'd be so 'courteous' to everyone.

You got it..what a team we would make..

I bet the LIRR riders would applaud us!
