Every year for my birthday we go to Ruth's Chris but its Dec 21 so it always takes us over two hours to get there due to holiday traffic. So this year I wanted to switch it up and try a new Japanese place . . . any suggestions?

Good ol' Benihana, ohh but not in Queens, in Manhasset. ohh there is a hibachi rest on Bell Blvd

There is a bunch of Japanese places in Astoria....as a matter of fact I think they're a little oversaturated on Ditmars Blvd. Try any one of the ones there....

the thing is that FH drank too much at this Japanese restaurant and got VERY sick SO he can't eat sushi anymore ( you know how that happens. . .i still cant eat banana splits! LOL ) so the only way i can get him to take me is if its for my birthday so i am trying to use that!!

ok first i realized i spelled it habachi
i know there is one small sushi place but its like this small hidden one. They do have a hibachi place on queens blvd though

aww, we used to be so close. I used to work right on the corner of 54th and 6th. Well...I didn't actually work ON the corner, but you know what I mean.

i am trying to see if watawa has a site, but i just find reviews and stuff...its small but very nicely decorated, very intimate and everyone raves about their sushi

There is one on Austin that's downstairs. I forget what's above it. It's not far from the NYSC on the same side.

It is very good. Way better than Go Wasabi. I actually just ordered from the other place up the street from Watawa last night, the new one...Sakura I think it's called?
