Jaqueline Nicole--How exactly does 'airbrushing' work?

Just wondering because I have no idea and am beigining to have visions of a spray paint can! I would love for my make-up to stay on all day, but I don't want to look unlike myself. Thanks!

me too! i just had a make up trial and i was so disappointed. i rarely wear make up and i asked the person to make it look natural, and what happened? Of course, i looked cleopatra waiting to pick up a john! geeze.

i think i might be interested in airbrushing (particularly on my body -- don't ask) but i am worried it will rub off (especially on my dress). What is it exactly?

It's actually very cool and light, not caked on. She uses an airbrushing machine thingy, just like the ones they use for your nails, but I think a little bigger.
She puts a liquid makeup in it, then turns it on and blows it on your face. The make up goes on dry and light, even and smooth

JoRO, yes depending, you dont want it directly on your dress, even though it is pretty dry, if its directly on your dress you never know.

JoRo, I went for a trial before and booked her on the spot, I think everyone who goes does. She is so talented and has a wonderful personality as well.
I'm using it for my face, neck, and to help cover up my tatoo

Wacky, the make up stayed on all day, but I didnt feel like I had makeup on at all. She airgrushed the blush too. I felt so pretty

Is she very expensive? I'm afraid to go for a trial and love what she does and then find out she is WAY out of my budget! I mean I'm not going cheap here (it is my wedding, haha) but I also don't want to spend a fortune....

She's not too expensive, to tell you the truth I forgot how much it costs, but I think for the Bride it may be $125 if you have makeup including airbrush, and about $55 for Bridal Party members.

oooooooh that's not too bad Thanks! I just didn't know how much these make up artists charge. And she comes to your house?? I'm lost! But from what I hear, I should get a move on it and get her booked because I hear she's hard to get, right?!

You should. I booked her a year in advance She DOES come to your house, whatever time you need her to. SHe's coming to me at 6 am.

Thanks for all of the info. I think I will set up a trial with her. I like the idea of not having to worry about re-applying all day (not to menton shininess!)

YEAH! I just got off the phone with her and she is sooo nice! Anyway, I have a trial next Thursday... now i'm nervous!
