HERE GOES AGAIN...im gonna write it in a million posts so dont interrupt.. hahahahh j/k

1. the proposal was amazingggg.. it was so unexpected. Since we've been together for 6 years i knew eventually we would get engaged..but im graduating in dec with my masters and figured it would be sometime around then....

background info..
saturday may 23 bry and i had plans to go to the top of the rock at rockefeller center and then to see rent for the 10th time (literally) it wasnt out of the ordinary because we do touristy things aroung the city..
so the day of it was kind of overcast and i didnt know what to wear.. so i just threw on jeans and a sweater and flip flops obvi my favorite.. so my mom comes in my room and says 'THATS WHAT YOURE WEARING!!!' so i replied.. were just going to the city who cares.. so bry comes over and says thats fine lets just go..

2. so we get in his truck to drive in (which should have set me off because he just got the new truck and is obsessed with it) so were driving and he had the air on freezing.. so i said im freezing and he said.. im sorry im just really hot.. so then hes says can you check the rent tickets so i did and starting laughing cause the tickets were for 8pm not 2.. so he grabbed them out of my hand and was like i cant believe it.. so i said who cares well just hang out and shop or whatever.. so he was like jsut call your mom.. so i did and told her and we decided we were gonna try to exchange them... tbc

3. so we get into the city and go to the top of the rock.. it was so breathtaking.. i really loved the views.. so i was looking all around and bry was completely not looking at anything.. so i said bry, if you dont want to be here well leave who cares ya know.. so he says no i just really have to go to the bathroom.. so i was like then just go ill stay here.. soooooo he came back 3 minutes later and was like there was no bathroom but i got you this at the stand.. it was a chocolate bar.. it had a really cute saying on it so i took a picture with it. (normal cause we scrapbook everything) ... it said a special treat for someone sweet.. so i opened it and it looked like a hershey bar (with the breakoffs but without the logo) so i said bry whats with the ghetto chocolate? and i turned it over to examine it ..and it read 'jennie, will you marry me?' and i turned around to see him down on one knee and i just started screaming YOU'RE KIDDING ME!!.. i have no idea what he said to me.. i was shaking and crying.. it was so amazing..and then all these strangers came out clapping.. i couldn't believe it i was just deliriously happy.. it was so perfect i was so proud of him for being so creative and doing something so perfect for me ya know...AND THATS NOT ALL!!!!

4. so after i called everyone else i know.. we still had the rent tickets to deal with.. i wanted to just go home and show everyone my chocolate bar.. and ring obvi.. but bryan was like no dont worry more surprises are coming.. so we went to the theater and changed the tickets.. i couldnt sit still the people next to us even asked us if we had just got engaged.. i guess i was glowing.. so after the show we decided to stop by his house..so we went there and our entire families and our friends were there waiting for us.. he had the whole thing catered and he got me an edible choclate strawberry arrangement.. he knew i always wanted everyone together so we wouldnt have to rush around.. it was the best.. STILL MORE..

IM GETTING TO THAT HAYLS!!!!
so it turned out all the planning started in april while i was in the bahamas with 2 of my best friends.. he went to get the ring then.. but he asked my mom the monday before and then my dad and my godfather and then everyone else knew but me!! SO he did in fact tape the candt bar to his leg with electrical tape which is why the car had to be freezing cause he didnt want it to melt.. and his fake tummy ache was so that he could take it off his leg.. hes the most thoughtful person ever.. im so lucky...

to answer all joy.. we booked our church, place, video and photographer .. but i just wrote a new to do list thanks to hayleyandsteve.. shes the most organized person i know.. if you could only see the index cards from college.. hahah

ps for anyone other than jennie.... mootsie is my dog. and yes i know that's a weird name. but my other dog had puppies and 2 looked exactly alike... one became 'tootsie' which is a little bit more normal of a name... and the other jokingly became mootsie just because it rhymed.... but then the name stuck! and now she's my little baby!
