It is truly a pretty setting for weddings.
All the rooms were open, but there were ALOT of people (brides etc) there tonight.
The kitchen was also open & the food was fab

LP, did you see the Oak Room? The smallest one, downstairs...if so, what did you think?

i liked it, they said its for 120+ (i think-correct me if i am wgn) I think that is still a bit small for 120+ DJ etc -
my take - more for 80-100... comfortably

i asked abt the trumpets - they are abt 1K...awww well, a bride can dream right

I know, they claim the Oak Room seats up to 150 people, 120 comfortable...I also think 100 is the max. Is it the one in your album...I think if it's that one you took a few cool pics. I like the fact that the DJ is set up 'in the wall' so that the dance floor is not occupied. Do you think the dance floor is big enough? They had round tables in there, right? I was told we had to do oblong tables...be brutally honest, did you like it? Do you think my guests will like it? Would you like to go to a wedding in that room?

Thanks LP - sorry for the million questions, I'm trying to convince myself that the room is OK since the SKylight has a 140pp guarantee and I don't know that many people!

YES, i do like the room, but i agree with you the 150 seems to be pushing it. I like the walls & the decor of all the rooms. 100-120 would be a good fit.

If you have booked this room - you are fine.
The other rooms have their beauty too, but you dont want to book that & then have ALOT of empty space..thats like $$$ going up in the air

I know abt not knowing that many people,my guest list is 120 110 are SURE (they are family etc) so i feel you on that one

SB - you are juust having normal bride feelings of ' is this right is that right....' YOUR ROOM is GREAT & your wedding will be a DREAM. The ceiling is fine..unless you are having Shak at yr wedding??? LOL

I'm like Goldilocks - the Dome Room is too BIG, the Skylight Room is beautiful but it has an odd set-up and seems too big for my guests, plus I like al fresco paintings on the wall, the Penthouse Room is WAY too big...so that leaves me with the Oak Room...OK - sorry for the little moment...hey, does this count as my first bridal meltdown?

yes the CP's were in YOUR room, the Oak room. They were all diffrent styles & colors which was nice so people could get a feel for what they can do

After I saw the Oak Room, I almost wanted MY reception in there!! Party Sensation did such a beautiful job decorating it! Now I want platinum bows and pink sparkly table linens (my colors are pink and platinum).

It was a great showcase last night, it really was. There was so much food! All of the rooms were beautiful. As nice as my room is, I wish I had the money and the minimum for the penthouse room. Gorgeous.

Thank you! Thanks for sharing the vendor that did the room as well, I agree, they did an awesome job. I really wish I would have gone. That room usually has oblong tables, so I'm not sure if specialty linens can even go there...but the round tables looked awesome!

Are you in the Dome Room or the Skylight? Both are breathtaking! I think JT's strength is that all the roooms have a common 'theme' but are so distinct - just lovely! Your wedding will be beautiful - I am certain!
