has anyone seen the champagne march at jericho terrace- is it cheesy? i heard one bride requested it not be done and they gave her a hard time??

Yes they did it at my friend's wedding. They have the waiters and waitresses march out with the champagne onto the dance floor, march around in a circle while this club music is played, and then they walk over and pour the champagne in your glass for the toast. I guess it's on the cheesy side. I know I was laughing a lot about how serious they were being about people pouring champagne for a toast.
If you're trying to picture the cheesiness factor, it's kind of like when you go to the Yankees games, and the field guys go onto sweep the field in the middle of an inning and they do the YMCA. I mean I'm a Yankee fan, and I think it's cute. But I guess that's the type of thing the champagne march reminds me of.

a gurl in the HS i intern at works there and says she hatesssss doing this march... seems kinda gay the way she explained it...

ive seen it done, but ive also been to other wedding at JT where they didnt do it so seems like they dont have a problem with not doing it.
YOu basically have like a ton of waiters all with white gloves coming out in a straight row through the room to pop open the champagne and then they go around and pour the champagne in the glasses. I dont think i want it, gotta remember to tell them lol
