It seems that a few of us are planning from jersey..since we miss alot of the get togethers in Long Island , would anyone be interested in planning a Get Together here in Jersey? Of course everyone would be welcome!!!

I am a new Jersey girl (just moved 3 weeks ago!) & would love to meet up too! Only problem is that I don't have a car yet (I'm probably getting one at the end of August/September & I take the bus to NYC to work). I'm in Bergen County.

Jess.. we are less than 15 minutes away from each other. mandy, we are 5 minutes away!! Everyone else is juts a half hour away! This could work out GREAT!!!! so lets set up a date..when is good for everyone? The only time I cant do is this next weekend..we will be out of town..but after that..I can do any day!!!!YEA!!

I say Morristwon is a great place to go for drinks! Frogs right off the green is a wonderful place..especially in the back cigar bar..but there are a ton of places..the Dublin Pub is usually pretty good as well. So I will go anywhere..lets plan a date? We are starting to house hunt..but what we can afford is a shack.

Spel - I'm not house hunting, I'm a real estate agent. My dad is moving up from Florida so I get to sell him a house!
I work at Weichert in Morris Plains in the financial dept....I only do sales part time. It's going to be a long time before I buy a house at the rate I'm going!!! Although FH is supposed to be getting a raise next week!

Now my mind is spinning with ideas!Hoboken, Morristown, short hills mall..we could even have it at my place. We dont own it, we rent..but its a two family, we have two floors, with a deck outside.we could barbecue and drink. Everyone could just bring something..although..Id kind of like to go out and have drinks. But its an option. A Happy hour would be fun too!!

Self Confessed Jersey Girl here.....nothing to be embarrassed about ladies....LOL!!! ...There are plenty of places in NY that I wouldn't be too proud to be from either.....Every state has their own eyesores...ya know? I live in Jersey City now (right by Sassy and FutureMrsTC) and would love to have a 'Jersey' GTG!!!!!

Hoboken is great and easy for those coming in from the city.....
Morristown is great too (I could drive there and pick up those w/o cars?)
Or Shorthills too (God I love that place)

wow! This is great! So lets do this!! Why dont we all post when is good for us, there arent THAT many of us ..we shoudl be able to coordinate our schedules. Im fine with anything!! Whatever is best for everyone. Im close to jersey City../ hoboken and morristown..so it doesnt matter to me. I can take Jess too wherever. If we do a BBQ, everyone can just bring something..but if we went to bar..that could be fun too!!

And Sage..I llike Jersey too! My dad was military so we moved alot! Ive lived in Oklahoma, kansas, munich germany, Seattle and I finally settled in Jersey. I have actually lived here the longest that I have lived anywhere in my life. 9 years babay! I like it because we are close to everything, the shore, philly, NY, skiing, etc. I think jersey is great! Whats great about the eyesores in Jersey..they are fixing them up! Even Newark is becoming a beautiful city..slowly..but its happening.

Weekends are better for me..unless its a monday after work..but mondays probably **** for everyone esle..unless we do this in September..then my schedule will change..I am hoping we can do this sooner though! Im excited!!

I am almost ALWAYS free Fridays & Saturdays when DH is working his second job.. We will be back from Vegas on 8/6- so any weekend after that is good until September when school starts.
