It seems that a few of us are planning from jersey..since we miss alot of the get togethers in Long Island , would anyone be interested in planning a Get Together here in Jersey? Of course everyone would be welcome!!!

unfortunately, the weekend after 8/10 is no good for me. my best friend is coming in from chicago on friday & we have a bbq on saturday. is anyone available the weekend after? what is that date?
i have to get back to work, lets see if we can work out something. i'll post after work & see how the plans are going!

I'm another LI girl living in Hoboken!! Weekends don't work me - I'm booked until the wedding - then I'm moving to Chicago!
An outdoor table at Mile Square would be a great place to meet!
Or Madison's or Sinatra Cafe on the water.

august 23rd is the first saturday i'm available. the next weekend is labor day i think.
when is everyone else available? you're probably right alicia, we may have to do a few little GTGs. schedules are so crazy in the summer!
we just went to the south city grill in mountain lakes (route 46, i think??) on saturday for our 1 year engagement anniversary. it was fabulous!

yeah..thatsa nice on in Mountain lakes!Congrats on yoru one year engagement!! I can come to any of the gtg's..we are saving for this wedding, so we arent doing too much this summer vacation wise We are going to Toronto next weekend for their version of carnival..its alot of fun,,but thats all we have planned in our sad little wedding plannin lives. Its hard paying for weddings while trying to save for a house while paying for grad school. BOOHOOO. I think a get together with fellow brides would be great!!

I'm without wheels (pretty standard for living in Hoboken, the land of no parking). So if you decide to meet in Hoboken on a weeknight, I'm in. Any other place/time I'm out. But regardless, pls keep me in the loop on any Jersey/LI issues!

Weeknights actually are better for me! Alicia, have fun in Toronto! I've passed that South City Grill - did you know that the food network actually featured it in the show 'the best of' ( I don't cook, I just watch it on TV!!)

The South City grill has great food and boy od they have a sunday brunch..its 25 bucks and all you can eat and drink mimosas or bloody mary's..its great food! Its not a bad hangout either..just gets pretty crowded..ok..so a weeknight it is..shall we do Hoboken or South City Grill? I can do either!! If we do it in August, the 2nd week i am off for two weeks so then I could go anyday..anytime..until then I would just get there late throw some dates out here ladies and lets do this!!!

I know that the south city grills big night is a wednesday night..but not sure how it is in teh summer..thats usually during the fall/ winter..but there will be atleast ten of us..we'll have fun no matter what!! Thanks Jess..I plan to have a really good time. We go every year..its alot of fun!!

I agree, weekends are too hard to plan. How is a Wednesday or Thursday night in Hoboken? There are so many places out on Washington Street that we are bound to find something that fits everyone's tastes. How about the 2nd or 3rd Wed/Thurs in August...work for anyone?
