Can anyone suggest the jeweler which you purchased you wedding bands from?
Also, did FH's get white gold or platinum? We are torn on this one, b/c someone said that platinum scrathes easier. My e-ring is platinum, but becasue my band is mostly diamonds I can't tell. For those that have a plain band is this true?

Re: Jeweler Suggestions
We always use Tudor Jewelers in Northport.
Ray is amazing and will make anything you want for a great price. When we were picking up our bands, a couple had come in looking at engagement rings and talking about prices they had seen elsewhere and Ray was like 2/3 of the cost for the same thing. He wants to make his clients happy and keep them coming back.
My mom's coworker needed bands quickly, and she went in after school one day and Ray sent her home with 4 bands for her FH to try on, and just told her to bring the other ones back the next week. He is nuts! But, he is the only jeweler I will ever use.
He will even break out the wine in celebration when you make your final picks.
Anyways, FH went with palladium and I went with white gold

Louis Martin Jeweler's in Rockafeller Center. They have been there for years and they gave us an awesome price on my wedding band. This is also where DH purchased my e-ring.
As far as DH's band, we purchased it at a local Irish Jeweler since he wanted celtic designed band. Originally, he had is mind set on platinum until he saw the price difference and decided to get white gold instead. I also opted for white gold for my wedding band even though my e-ring is platinum (you can't even tell the difference and the price difference is worth going for white gold).

Re: Jeweler Suggestions
We're using Tiffany & Co. in East Hampton. We've worked with Tom, over the last two years, for our jewelery/ gift needs. We are getting matching Platinum, even though I would prefer white gold. The style we are interested is only available in Plat, I'm gonna double check with Tom...

Village Jewelers in Huntington. Joseph is the best!
We went with white gold. I didn't want platinum because it scratches easily, and can also bend so diamonds become lose or fall out easily.
