Jewelery on honeymoon?

I'm with you....confused!

I don't want to get married and take the rings off but I am afraid to take them because I know we'll be in the ocean ALL the time...

I think I am going to get a plain, white gold band rather than fake...

i have been debating that myself...

i have heard some horror stories...

but you jsut WANT to have your rings on!!! i kno i cant live without mine now.. i def dont want to take off a wedding band!!!


if anything i would possibly get a cheep set

i know ! i don't want to get a cheap set because it won't be the same thing ya know...once i'm married my rings will have that much more value..grrr this is so confusing..i have my ering insured and i will have my wedding band insured but to me that almost means nothing..cause the sentimental value can never be replaced!

ditto! if i ever lost this ring I would feel TERRIBLE....i'm going for a plain old white gold band for the HM i think...

i went to italy last month and i bought a great fake and wore that- i was terrified about losing the real one- it is insured- but i am sentimental about it and want the actual one that he proposed with- so I'll be wearing a fake on the honeymoon.

ps- i got the fake at claires- it was $7 and not bad looking at all (unless you looked close lol)

I'm the same exact way..my ering honestly in my opinion (insurance or not) can never be replaced..its what he proposed to me with and losing that would crush both him and myself..

I agree with all of you but I just recently went on vacation and there was a safety box in the hotel room. Everytime we went to the pool or outside I left it but when we went out I wore it. But if you feel like you dont want to take it then buy a fake set

a safe is good...but it still makes me nervous..when i got engaged (it was on a cruise) i didn't want to leave my ring in the safe the whole time..cause i was so afraid..im weird like that

umm thats some of the horro stories...
anyone can really access that box.

advice i was given.. if you bring jewerly ask the front desk of ur hotel to hold it in THEIR box.

I'm getting a fake set (sterling silver, CZ so that it doesn't change color in the water). My rings are way too important and worth way too much to chance ruining, losing or being stolen! Noone would ever be able to replace THAT ring that he bought to ask me to be his forever!

I wore my ering in Aruba this past summer. i wore it in the pool and in the ocean. There is no way im going to be happy just getting married and not wearing it!

i am probably just wearing it. i mean of course i would be soo unbelieveably upset if i lost it as well as fh...

however i dont think that way haha i always think it will be on my finger no matter waht. plus we went on a cruise after we were engaged and i wore it jet skiing and in the pool and ocean! i am comfortable with it i just make sure i am careful.

i am also afriad if i got a fake i would get one that is bigger and fh would take offense and i would be also wearing it around after we got home hehe...NAH i would never his ring that he proposed with could never be replaced and has so much sentimental value to me!!

same here

i will be wearing mine.. we wont be swimming or skiing or anything and i wont ever take them off, so i feel fine keeping them on..of course i will just be careful i would feel really weird without them on lol
