Kristinka, your dress is perhaps one of the most stunning long sleeved modest dresses I have ever seen. You looked lovely on your wedding day.

I guess I am a bad Jew. My entire back is open for the world to see on my dress. But hey, its about the ONLY thing my mom and I could agree upon easily.

FH's grand mother bought us our Lenox Shabbos gearWe registered for the challah plate, candlesticks and matching bread knife. Ya think she is trying to tell us something?
Maybe. However, with all the candlesticks I have and the challah board, I still don't use them as often as I should. I did the first few weeks of marriage..that was it!![]()
We will just have to make it our business to invite her for shabbos dinner.

Everything open i tried on, i was busting too much out of, so my theory is cover now so i may uncover later OR depending how religious i will be i will set a good example for my kids.
:)
Now i'm moving into more religious, i even cover my hair.. so it worked out.

It took me a long time to find a modest gown that I liked-everything was either too poufy or lacey.

We either have or have registered for ALL of the lenox 'gear.' (shabbos, pesach, mezuzah,etc)... We plan to use it, but I don't know how observant we'll be realistically. it's nice to have though

I plan on being more observant than religious but still, I am marrying in a reform shul in a dress that might make one of my Frum guests a lil uncomfy. Oh well, she'll have a drink and enjoy. The back of the dress is way open but the front is more modest. Thats me in the first picture (which my sister managed to sneak when I was trying dresses on last week) and the model in the second picture. Those sample sizes are too darn small.

Re: Jewish Brides
Hey girls!I am interfaith, and my fh is jewish, so since I am half and his faith is important to him, we're going with a Jewish ceremony, just not as religious. Can you girls fill me in on all the details that goes on (Ketubah and such). Also, if anyone could recommend reformed rabbi's I'd appreciate it greatly!
Good luck with all your planning!
Also, does anyone know where we can rent a Huppah? (sp)
