Jewish Brides (past and present) How many...

Original post by Goldi1021

...yarmulkes did you order?

I am hoping to have no more than 200 guests and I am not quite sure of the split between men and women. It will be too close in time to order them after the RSVPs roll in. Id rather get them done and out of the way so it is one less thing for me to do. I am going to yarmulkes.com but will probably order them in person since I work not too far from there.

Also, did you order head coverings for the ladies if you got married in a temple? Is that done or just yarmulkes? I can't remember seeing them at any temple wedding. Maybe I am confusing it with a regular service when the ark is opened and the Torah is read.

Todah Rabah! (as if all of a sudden I speak Hebrew )

I don't think anyone but me wants to order them since the hall provides them. Meanwhile I'm never going to wear it. I'm Chaya by the way...very creative.

We are having between 200 and 210 guests...we ordered 120 yarmulkes. I'm sure we'll have extra, but we'll use them for holidays and stuff going forward.

We're having about 180 guesys. nt in a temple, only pnme family is jewish, so maybe 75. I know we're way overshooting how many we need, but I think a lot of people will take them home.
