Jewish Brides, Where did you buy yarmulkes (kipot, kippahs)?

Hello all!

It just occurred to me that I will need to order yarmulkes for the wedding! Does anyone have a place they recommend? Pricing info and such would also be appreciated!

THANKS!

I got mine from the Temple. If not you can try a Party place. There is also Write Expressions in Merrick I think you can order them from there.

Judaica Store in West Hempstead

The phone number is 516-564-9670.

It took about 3 weeks, they came out great. It was $18.00 for a dozen (satin). If you buy 5 or more dozen, writing inside is free, otherwise it's a total of $10.00 more.

We love ours...

I was a Catholic bride, but since my hubby is Jewish :) I got our kippot from www.kippah.com

I called them directly for my order (they're in Brooklyn 718-435-3288). Last year they were $15/doz. + a one time $5.00 imprint charge and $6.00 s&h charge. We got the burgundy satin ones (6 part w/ button). We were very pleased. It took about 3 weeks because they *forgot* about my order!

Funny story, my Catholic 11 year old nephew wore his all day, wore it to bed that night & would only take it off to shower in the morning! He told us he was going to start a rock band called the *Hebrew Jeebies* (he plays the guitar). Such a cutie.

Good luck!
