jewlery or 'gift' for daughter

Hi!

This is my 2nd wedding and I have a 6 yr old daughter from my previous marriage. She looks at her stepdad to be as another father (she is close with her biological dad and sees him all the time). She can't wait for FH and I to get married. I was thinking of giving her something from the both of us at the ceremony to represent that she is part of our new family. I have heard of giving rings (but she's 6 and will grow) and was wondering if there was other ideas out there. It has to be something that she can understand not to wear when she goes to my ex b/c really nice earrings I have bought her 'disappeared' a few times. I have stopped sending her over there with jewlery.

TIA!

Maybe a necklace with a locket of a family picture of you three that she wears on special occasions

Maybe you can have the wedding date inscribe on it as well.

what about a pandora bracelet? you can get a smaller size bracelet now, and when she gets older just get a larger one but the charms will always fit. you can add charms to it for milestones and special occasions
