Would you take a job for 20% less salary, doing the same thing you are doing now, but for shorter hours?

If it makes you happy, I say why not. When I changed careers to teaching i took a huge paycut (about 40%) but it was the best thing I ever did

Are the benefits comparable? What is the retirement plan/pension plan like at the new job? How important is a flexible schedule to you vs. higher salary?
