John Williams ceremony music?

Let me preface this by saying that there was a lot of compromising going on when this was decided.

First of all, my FH wanted a band,and I was dead set on a DJ, so I sacrificed the ceremony spot (I wanted the waterfall, and he wanted the garden) so that I could get my DJ and not the band. With this sacrifice, I had to also agree to live musicians who are able to play John Williams music (specifically Indiana Jones... please don't judge me..or really, my FH)

Is it common for people to request musicians who can play a certain song that is not necessarily used for weddings, or are these people going to look at me like I have 17 heads?

I have no idea how this works...

I have looked into a few ceremony musicians, and they've all said that as long as you give them the song in enough time (which you have plenty of), they will play whatever you want.

I have a specific song that I want played while my bridal party walks down the aisle, it's a Dave Matthews Band song, and I found a piano version on YouTube that I love. So I found the sheet music and have it for when I decide who I want for my ceremony, and all of the people I have spoken to said it's no problem.

I'm sure unusual requests are actually more common than we think.

My best friends kid sister will be playing guitar for me when I walk down the aisle to 'Enter Sandman'

I'm pretty sure I'm going to have my bridal party walk down to 'Seven Nation Army' OR the Super Mario Bros Theme :)

you're probably right, Katie. I have to find sheet music for it, I guess. Any ideas on where I can find such things for a price that comes in around the area of 'free'?

For Piano?

And yes, you can walk to whatever you'd like (I think mostly outside of a church setting, but that may be wrong)

I plan on walking down to a Darius Rucker song!!

You can probably google 'free sheet music'. I know there's a lot of sites that offer it. Not sure if they have the song you're looking for, but it's worth a shot.

The song I want played for my BP to walk down to is a Dave Matthews Band song, but the arrangement I found on YouTube for piano is slightly different than the song with the vocals, which I thought was pretty cool. You could try that too.

omg yes!! He's country now and he's AMAZING. I saw him in concert with brad paisley about 2 years ago up in saratoga and it was one of the best concerts EVER. it was so hick-like it wasn't even funny. Outside with on the lawn... it started to rain there was mud... omg. lol

i love country. Theres a song called 'She's in love with the boy' by Trisha yearwood (or at least I think) and its about Katie and Tommy.. so I think I want that to play SOMEWHERE lol

I actually let FH listen to it the other day and I definitely thought he would put up a fight and try to get me to walk down the aisle to here comes the bride, but he was cool about it!!
