The only part that I feel is sad is the effect on the kids. The parent could only see $$$$ signs and put those kids through all that filming.

Im not watching.. Its my favorite show and I wished the parents will stay together... I'll watch my tivo tomorrow.. How sad!! They have filed for divorce today..

Yes, and I think Jon is a selfish a$$hole...obviously going thru a midlife crisis and NOT thinking about his kids. I feel so sorry for them (the kids).

Seriously Jon is immature....but would you want to be married to Kate? You can only treat a person that badly for so long before they can't take it anymore! What I think is disgusting is that they put it on TV. If you need to separate, that's fine....but do it in the privacy of your own home so your children don't have a public video of the breakdown of their parents' marriage. If it was about the kids, it wouldn't be on TV for the world to watch.

I just watched the repeat and D amn they suck!!! They should have stoppedlast year with the show, it probably would have saved them. to think they just renewed they vows.

I agree Kate treats Jon a little shady...but I don't know how I'd treat my husband if I had 8 kids...and whether she was mean or not....it doesn't mean you should cheat or sit on cable tv and say
'I'm young, I'm only 32...this is a new chapter for me', while your wife cries and says 'I don't want to do this alone...'
She may be mean, but he ticked me off big time!

i honestly feel like kate's tears were fake...she can be such a b*eeeeep. And it wouldnt surprise me one bit if those tears were 'oh, you should feel so sorry for me cause im getting a divorce'
If you saw the end of last season, you know this was gonna happen. Jon wanted to be normal and stop the show. She got her way w/ a season 5 and destroyed her marriage in the end.
