So I didn't think I'd do this, but now since i'm a pretty traditional Italian girl I think I decided I want to do the Jordan Almonds in little organza bags to put on the tables. Is anyone else doing this?

Re: Jordan Almonds? Who is doing them?
I was debating doing this in addition to the donation favor...but almonds are expensive! And apparently, so are organza bags! So I think I'm going to let my RH let everyone know that I'm Italian instead

Re: Jordan Almonds? Who is doing them?
FH really wants to do them... I personally think they are gross(i just don't like almonds!) but I know a LOT of people really look forward to them at weddings so we will prob be doing them..

definitely going to have them, mom says its a must. I don't know if we are going to use the poem though, but its cute:
Five sugared almonds for each guest to eat, To remind us that life is both bitter and sweet. Five wishes for the new husband and wife; Health, wealth, happiness, children, and a long life!

I'm allergic to almonds so no...but FH loves them so if we go to a wedding he gets both sets...so I say go for it.

Re: Jordan Almonds? Who is doing them?
I was just informed by my mother this evening that I MUST have them - after all - my name is Gina! I don't really like them, but sometimes it's easier to cave into the family than fight it....
Of course, my very Danish, German and Irish FH and his family won't have a clue what they are, etc....

I need to have them (italian). Where is a good place to get them in Long Island. I'd rather not buy them online.
