Jordan Almonds? Who is doing them?

Original post by sofreakingexcited

So I didn't think I'd do this, but now since i'm a pretty traditional Italian girl I think I decided I want to do the Jordan Almonds in little organza bags to put on the tables. Is anyone else doing this?

I was just informed by my mother this evening that I MUST have them - after all - my name is Gina! I don't really like them, but sometimes it's easier to cave into the family than fight it....

Of course, my very Danish, German and Irish FH and his family won't have a clue what they are, etc....

This is my fear too! FH's family is from MD and not at all Italian. I think i'm going to make cute tags to attach to the organza bags with the poem.

My FH's parents come from Italy and they are ordering it from their town. I will FM you all of the details once we order. I know if you go to myitalianwedding.com you can order them on their and they are imported but FH says their not the same. So as soon as I find out I will let you know.

I'm going to have them as one of the options on my candy table.

I am doing them... we put the 5 almods in the flower shape.. looks like this .. its in Ivory and the flower in the middle is white and gold, really pretty. I dont have a pic, but this is the closest I could find online. Then we are going to do the poem in tags and but it on there too
