Jovani dresses?
Does anyone know where they have the best selection of jovani dresses? There are a few on the website I want to try on, but most places only carry a few. Thanks!

Re: Jovani dresses?
I'm pretty sure RK Bridal carries Jovani. Their # is (888) 929-9512Whatever you do, avoid Totally You, in Bellmore. They are some of the most awful people I have ever met.

REALLY???? We went to Totally you like 5 times (yes 5 times... she tried on the same dress 4 of the times! finally she got it!) for my mothers dress and every single time they always helped her 1 on 1...
Sorry you had a bad experience there!
ETA- I think that Macy's in Manhassett has some, and I think I also saw some at Lilettes.
Good Luck!

I'm so glad that you guys had a good experience there, but it kinda makes me wonder why they were so unbelievably rude to us!!! FH and I went out to LI last thursday to look for a dress for fmil, and when we first walked in, the lady looked at us like we had 8 heads - she looked me up and down like I was a leper or something. I didn't like that at all! Then fmil purposely told her that our wedding was in October, and the woman goes 'OH. You're WAY too early. WAY WAY too EARLY, don't you know what month this is?' So that obviously made me even more annoyed, because really, I don't think looking in April for an 'October' wedding is too early at all. Then fmil and I described what we were looking for - something black, beaded and strapless. I told the woman that our wedding was a saturday night, formal affair, so we needed something dressy, and she barked at me 'I UNDERSTAND THAT - GOOD FOR YOU. ALL I WANT TO KNOW IS WHAT LENGTH YOU WANT THE SLEEVES.' After that comment, I sat down by the fitting room while she took fmil to look through books of dresses. She didn't even show us 1 single dress!! Nothing!!! I don't believe for a second that they didn't have anything that fit our criteria!
Sorry for my rant...I totally highjacked your thread....I guess I'm still irked by that mean old b!tch!

I think Bridal Reflections also carries Jovani. I believe that is what my MIL wore and she purchased her dress there.

Re: Jovani dresses?
If you decide on a Jovani dress, you can order it from Phyllis at Bridal Elegance and save a bunch of $$, but she didnt really have many there, so you have to go somewhere else to find it.

The people at Totally You did that to me and my mother also!!!
We went I think in February because my mom was itching to get a dress. We told the lady the wedding is in November and she was like.. why are you here so early? It's too early. We were like when should we order a dress then, the lady was like you can in June, they only take about 4 months to come in! Not for nothing we tried on a few and walked out. They weren't that nice to us either! They didn't really have a great selection either. We ended up going to Helen's in Commack today and she got I think a Joavani dress. My mom finally got a dress!! YAY!! So excited!! Welcome New Vendors
