Oh thanks for remembering this! Actually nothing has been resolved. It seems his uncle has no intention of explaining to anyone. He has sent FH and I emails since then like forwards or jokes and FH and I read them and don't respond....but...here is the kicker:

This Sunday is FH's Mom's 50th Birthday! This Uncle is her brother and he will be at the Surprise 50th bday party we are throwing her on Sunday. FH and I have talked about it and we are going to be polite and nice, but not overly friendly. I told FH I will not go up and hug them but I will say hi how are you, nice to see you, etc. I also told FH that his Mom's 50th bday is not the time nor the place to hash this out with his uncle. So we will see what happens. I will def post after the party on Sunday. Thank you so much for remembering about this. How sweet are you!!

I think that is a perfect way to handle the situation at the party. No need to start a fight or anything there, but I def wouldnt be overly thrilled to see them either... who knows maybe his uncle will say something? I hope it all works out, I feel so bad for your FH, I just know both me and my FH would be crushed if something like this happened. Definitely keep us posted after the party..Good Luck
