Re: July brides ....

Has everyone done their menus and seating charts yet?

Re: July brides ....

how can we do seating arrangements when we are already a week past the response date and still don't have all the responses back yet!???

Re: July brides ....

Our responses are all due by this Saturday and we're still missing some responses. I'm actually starting to feel a bit relaxed, oddly enough. We have our first dance lesson tonight. The only major things we need to do at this point is get a hold of the Swan Club, figure out how to do programs, and work on the rehearsal dinner.

Good luck everyone!

Re: July brides ....

Deirdre you will be there soon enough!

Now that my dress is in I am starting to feel a little more like a bride instead of a planner. I did a count today and we are closing to not making our count

But we are still missing A LOT of responses! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Re: July brides ....

Yeah me too. I go from stressing out to calming down. I feel like I am on a rollercoaster ride or something. I have done my menu but not the seating arrangements yet because I am still waiting on some responses to come in.

Re: July brides ....

UGH responses! This is definitely pay back because Frankie ALWAYS waits to the last week to respond. We are being paid back I am sure I can't even tell you. Here we are at the last week and we are missing 51 responses! On Saturday I am officially turning into Bridezilla!

Re: July brides ....

15 days to go.....and still receiving responses in the mail...... Sooo much to still do - meeting with priest, getting license, finish seating arrangements, final payments, meet with DJ, pictures and songs for videographer....

Re: July brides ....

I am July 6th too! Let me tell you that I did my homework in regards to vendors. Burton's has totally cheapened out on my dress and said the alteration could not be done the way I wanted. Yes, they could. They just didn't want to do all that work. Carol the owner from Burton's has the most rotten, apathetic attitude for running a bridal business. I will NEVER refer anyone to Burton's again. The flower part of Burton's seems to be going well.
Then we needed 10 add'l favors. The store was recently taken over by the lady's father-in-law so he wasn't going to give us the original price for the favors. I fought and said we have a contract. He honored the price, but I will not be returning there, either.
Hopefully the Farmer's Almanac is wrong and i will not have rain on the 6th but in case it does, I am mentally preparing myself. What can I do? Nothing!

Re: July brides ....

Does the Farmers Almanac say rain on the 6th? (that's my wedding too). I wouldn't pay it too much attention since they have been pretty much WRONG the entire spring so far... And even if it does rain (which it probably will), we are going to have GREAT weddings, right?!!!
