July brides ....

I'm the 6th too...
Hopefully it won't rain, but at the rate we're going. I guess we can just prepare for the best.

My wedding is also a week from this sunday and I am getting nervous.

getting nervous and anxious....notice the board still says May...I was soooo waiting for it to change to July!!!
Doing last minute things..my unity candle...directions to vendors...tasting and final payment next week!!!!
What about you guys???

Tomorrow is the big day for me!! Cant believe its here already.
I am so excited and nervous

I DID IT!!! I'm now a married woman! I just want to tell you briefly about what happened before and during:

I have been frantic all week and crying at least three times a day! I was so afraid that I would leave something out! I woke up at 3:45 am on the morning of my wedding because of the nerves. I got through the preparation and we got to our reception hall right before 10 am. I can't say I was completely excited because I was still in shock that it was my wedding day! I saw my FI (now DH) about 20 minutes after arriving and this sense of calm swept over me. From then on, I was so calm and if anything went wrong, oh well (I am usually so anal retentive that I shocked myself when I became calm). We did pictures and then we lined up to walk down the aisle. I didn't cry at all because I was having a great time - in fact, all I wanted to do was laugh and smile. There were a couple of mishaps along the way, like our first dance was awful but we just laughed and stepped on each other's feet throughout the whole song, and I fell off the chair during the hora. Oh, well. I did eat a lot and danced quite a bit!

In short, everything will eventually come together even if you think it won't. The only important things at your wedding is you, your FI, the officiant, and the marriage license. Everything else is just decoration.
