Jury Duty

Anyone else have to go out to Riverhead tomorrow for Jury Duty??..because I DO!!! So annoyed...they should pay for our gas!!!

Def. bring a book. I was called in a few months ago and waited around ALL DAY. Luckily, it paid off because all I did was wait and that counted so I am excused for the next 6 years!!!

Urgh....I hate jury duty. I was called last year, but they never called my number and it counted as serving!

Can you bring wedding stuff with you like books and magazines...at least you can have some fun while you are waiting. Hope its painless and you are let go quickly!

Good luck! I had it last year - sat there for a whole day and then they let everyone leave at 4. Bring a book/ipod with you!!!

I will be armed with a brand new Martha Stewart DIY edition magazine and my fully charged iPad, hope you ladies are on in the morning to entertain me!! Also hope I get out early so I can take a trip over to the outlets, I mean I kinda have to go since I'll be out there right?

that stinks. definitely hit up the outlets but go online and print out coupons on the tanger site. you can get some really good deals out there. hope you get dismissed quickly.

Oh man! I wish we had closer dates! I have mine June 20th! So close! But yea.... not happy about it. The gas is going to be ridiculous. I mean... I'm ALL the way in the West/South side of Suffolk.

I got called for Federal Jury Duty in Central Islip. I live in Brooklyn it would be almost a 2 hour drive for me, and 31/2 hr train ride. It was hell trying to get that resched to the Brooklyn Court House.

Sucks my FH is a court officer and usually gets me outta it but its Federal and he can't
but at least during lunch I get to see him but knowing my luck I'll get called and stuck on some crazy mob case or something the rest of the summer......
