Just a suggestion - Video is a must!
For those of you debating whether or not to have hire a videographer for the wedding, it's just my suggestion that it should be one of the must-have items. I too at one point was thinking of not having a video for budget reasons but I'm so glad my MOH insisted I have one! I just got a copy of the video my cousin made of the wedding and there's so many things I missed. There are so many things that happened throughout the evening that I was not aware of just because I was in the other end of the room talking to the guests or in the bathroom! I'm glad I have the video so I can see what everyone else was up to that evening. I can't wait to see the professional video! Just a thought....

can anyone suggest one for under $1300?
Thats what my photographers guy charges and the video is good, but thought maybe I could find it for less. Maybe with a DVD? Or am I asking for too much? Definitely only want one camera.

You can call VIP Studios and ask them about video. I don't know if he does it without hiring him as a photographer too but his video package was around $1000. Also Steven Taub is about $1200. I doubt you will get a DVD for under $1500. I looked at 6 videographers and all of them were close to $2000 for a DVD package. You can always book your video now and let them know you are thinking about a DVD. After the wedding you can order it if you have the extra $350-$400. It should not cost more than that for the DVD.Welcome New Vendors
