I think we are having an abnormally large RD, how many people are you inviting?

We invited 22 included us & the Reverand & her hubby. It was tough to get a room for that small of a group.

We invited close to 40 people. We had a lot of out of town guests; we invited significant others and for our friends who had children, we invited their kids to the rehearsal dinner, since we didn't invite them to the wedding.

We invited about 40, but had the rehearsal on a Thursday. My MIL threw a party on the Friday night for all the out of town guests and miscellaneous others and invited about 120.

We had around 30, but we only had around 95 people at the actual wedding, so I think that's a pretty large percentage.

Ours is going to be 35, but that's just bridal party plus their significant others, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
Mind you, this is a small RD compared to the last few that I've been to. I've been to several that were 100+ (lots of OOT guests). They were all VERY nice, and we would have done more, but we just didn't have the $$ to do it for more.
How many are you having?

we are having about 50-60.....we have a huge wedding party, plus of course, we are inviting everyone with a guest

we are having about 40...that includes BP and their dates, FG and their families, parents and the minister and wife... and 2 friends of our that are really close to us...
FH parent's are paying for the RD...

Typically it's the groom's side...but I guess whoever makes the offer.

Yes, literally it was like going to another wedding the night before. It was a lot of fun, and I was happy to be a guest, but I never could pull it off myself. Sorry for my guests, we're not that generous!

WE have enough OOT guests that to invite them to the rehearsal dinner would be ridiculous for the size of our reception guest list (less than 100). We are only keeping it to those involved in the ceremony (FH, me, MOH and husband, BM no serious signifiant other, 3 parents, my brother, readers and spouses, reverend, FH's sisters and their families), maybe 20.

Our RD will be about 100. It caught us off guard. We really weren't planning for that many. My FMIL invited all of the OOT guest. We didn't expect that this many people would make the trip.
BTW- We are about 25 people for just our immediate families and BP. We thought we would be about 50 in total. Boy were we wrong.
