organizing my wedding planning binder. I can't believe how much stuff is in there already! I don't think it's going to be big enough to hold up through the entire planning process.
I seperated it all into divided sections, hole-punched all of full-sized handouts and price lists I got from vendors at meetings or at expos... put business cards and small things in pockets in the binder dividers.... added paper for taking notes... darn thing got really heavy!
Also, am I the only one who when I start looking for a particular vendor goes to the LIW vendor page for that thing, prints it out, and uses that as a reference for all vendors and their phone numbers? I do worry that by doing that I limit myself to only LIW vendors and might miss out on something... but on the other hand, there are so many vendors out there, I could go nuts trying to look at all of them! This helps narrow it down a little, for the sake of my sanity...
how are you all organizing your planning?

Re: just finished...
hahah I am doing the same...i went and bought a gigantic binder at staples as well as the business card page protectors as well as the reguarl size page protectors because all the papers were starting to get ruined and started falling out...
i have been getting pictures from LIW of things i might want to incorporate into the wedding. I have a color printer so i print it out onto photo paper and placed it in one of those photo album pages and stuck it in my binder as well..
Yea I am pretty much sticking with LIW vendors or whatever vendors my RH has recommended...I also go by what people tell me and use that as reference. They are too many vendors out there that you could go crazy if you checked every single one out....
Happy Wedding Planning!!!

Re: just finished...
I started out with a notebook, but I decided I need to switch to a binder. I just have to get a 3 hole punch so I can transfer everything.

I need to do something like that. I currently have little piles of stuff on my desk, and I can never find anything when I want to!
Organization is the way to go!

Re: just finished...
I originally bought a big binder but ended up throwing it out (before I came to this site otherwise I would have given it to one of you lovely ladies!) I just felt this site helped me out so much that I really didnt have any clippings or anything else.

Re: just finished...
since we scrapped our original wedding i got rid of all my papers and stuff (except for my contracts...i'm holding on to those until i get all my refunds)..we know where we're going to get married now (moon palace in mexico) so once we start booking those things we'll probably set up a binder with folders
