Just getting started

Hi everyone!
I'm just getting started on the whole wedding thing, so I'm basically looking for some good word of mouth reccomendations. Right now I'm looking into photographers and DJ's. Who does everyone suggest I look into?

Welcome and congrats on your engagement! Im not too sure about DJ's but popular photographers on here are Duet, Velvet, Patken, 12th Night...

Hi and welcome

Did you book your Reception site yet?
I think that would be the best bet to book first, that way when you go to the photographer you know what date you need him to be open for!!!

i agree...get your ceremony and hall done first so you have an actual date set in stone!

In terms of DJ's, I've heard a lot of good things about Vinny from High Voltage and FM Entertainment. I haven't started the photog thing yet, so I cant help you much there!

I chose Tommy's Tunes for DJ and ADA for photo and video. FM me if you want detailed info. on either one

Bravura entertainment is an amazing dj company. They specialize only in weddings. I am using them. 2 of my friends used them and the dance floor was hopping all night. I am going to check out Duet photography tomorrow. . .heard they are awesome. Classic Video productions in West Babylon are very good. I know many people who have used them and the videos are amazing. I also recommend Burtons for flowers. I basically used a lot of the same vendors my friends or family used. If they left an impression on me at their weddings I made sure to check them out.
