and I failed. I feel like I practiced so hard & my permit expires in August when I turn 29. Yes 29 without and just trying to get my license. Oh well, came home, had my cry and will be rescheduling another test for July.

Dont worry!!! I failed a couple of times before I finally passed and I was 25 when I got my license! I know with me, it was all about nerves!!! I know how it feels to fail and it can be really discouraging but try not dwell on it! I agree with the previous poster and that you dont actually need to pay for more lessons but def get more experience sitting behind the wheel w/ a licensed driver and basically getting comfortable with driving. when parallel parking.. once u pulled up to the car on your right..
turnt he wheel to the right 3 times
reverse back til ur at a 45 degree angle
turn the wheen to the left 2 times then 1 more time to the right.
and voila! youre in

A lot of the time it just depends on who you get.
ITA!! Some of them are real b@ll busters!! Honestly, for mine...and I wasn't going to divulge this info but....I think I really should've failed mine. I didn't make complete stops at the stop signs, I practically stopped the car when making turns. The only thing I did well was parking and the broken u-turn. But I was the 2nd one to go for the day and I guess the lady was in a good mood.

Also, if you take it in a suburban/rural area, you only have to park BEHIND a car and not between 2 cars.

Not sure where you took the test, but I heard that Centereach is the hardest, and that Garden City is easy. I failed in Centerreach and passed easily in Garden City. Something you might want to keep in mind when you book another test.

Ugh Centereach is the worst! I failed there first time too. They should see me now! haha
