They did. They were just kinda hesitant about it and the photographer was looking like, 'Oh great, the freak table...I do NOT get paid enough for this.'

BTW, if you go to the link on Page 2 to the pics on the CD, you can see FH building his little compound in pic number 54, I think. And that's me behind the CP. Perfect shot of me, actually.

true, true! theycontinued playing even though no one really danced when they were on. i think it was b/c of the transition between the dj and band. there was downtime and everyone ran back to the table. honestly, for an event like this, maybe a band is not a good idea.

Were there different food choices at every table? I was confused - I was looking forward to having the duck and they put a piece of chicken in front of me and when I inquired about the duck - the waitress pointed to the menu and said we could only get what was on the menu and there was no duck on it!
I had a good time!!!

A question for the ladies who sat at the table with the berries centerpiece, did it get in the way of seeing everyone at your table? (I was originally thinking of getting a simple, low centerpiece with roses - but was really impressed with this one! Maybe I could alternate and have some tables with the low centerpieces and others with the berries one....hmmm....)

Staggering the prize giving throughout the night would have been nice to living things up too.

I thought the same thing. They gave us a paper with our number on it when we arrived for the aucitions...maybe they could have had us pull out numbers from a hat with which table we had to sit at...not really assigned...but random. That would have at least forced people who didn't know each other...to sit at the same table. Also...since we left early (at 6pm)...we didn't get to see any of the prizes given away...so staggering them would have been nice. Just my 2 cents...

Yes, we did have to pay at the other gtg. But we were also on a boat so there was not many places where you could go. So you kind of had to mingle on there.

I have to add that when we showed up and the lady gave us the paper with the numbers on it, she didn't say what we were supposed to do with it. When we found out we had to rip them apart and put them in the bowls for prizes, we were like.. oh, ok. So we went to the front and put the numbers in the bowls... then when they did the drawing for the winners of the prizes... we then realized that there was a table with prizes on the other side We didn't get to put any of our numbers in there and missed out on maybe winning some of those nice prizes

Just FYI the blond security lady may have been talking about trying to throw out the crashers that were sitting at the band's table in front of ours ...

As for the seating, I know I sat at a table with people I have known for a good amount of time, so I didn't mingle, now I feel bad that I did that, but I was just having so much fun with them Sorry girls!
