Wow that is a lot of money!!! I have 20 CP but they are low ....I went to burtons and I'm only paying a little over 2,000 for everything

i was quoted 4000 for 20 cps... 14 high 6 low.

trying to meet more florists for lower quotes...

i just dont want to pay so much in flowers

Pedestals was the first florist i saw and they quoted me 4500 where everyone else quoted my 3200-3600.

Alternating high and low cp's changes everything. It cuts down thousands and frankly really breaks up the room and makes it look more complete, more together. By alternating high and low you can cut out enough money to do the fabric draping. That looks SO sick at NRC. Lighting is key also, so by alternating cp's you can cut out thousands and put $720 towards kinetic uplighting. I would highly recommend looking into Jen at Verbena Designs. She will make you a sample before booking, and her ideas and prices are great. What kind of flowers are you looking to do? What types of colors?

Also-Don't let people scare you, 22 cp's of ANY kind is going to be expensive. I had 16 tables, alternated low and high cp's, bride bouquet, 7 bm bouquet, bouts, giant entry piece, two credenza pieces, giant ceremony arch, petals everywhere, votives everywhere for a little more than 5K. So your quote isn't INSANE, but I would still keep shopping florists. Good luck!!

yeah.. that's a lot of tables! I think our quote is 3000 but it's for 16 tables of high CP

Ye same here FBB is showing me a sample before I book and they were actually cheaper than pedestals. I am having 13 tables with High CP's.

yoou know what bothers me, you cant actually SEE the cp for a few months before the wedding. So in reality, I have no idea how 'FULL' and whatever they really are.

flowers by brian was the only one that did a sample for us without booking them.
they were a little more expensive than pedestals

im sorry they offered me the lowest price of the four I saw and other three I spoke with...

they were actually my lowest price as well. i didn't go with them though, but they were my second choice.

Wow..those are some expensive quotes. I don't need that much since I'm not having a huge wedding, but even if I was, I guess I'm cheap bc I would never pay 3-4k for flowers..

ahhhh!! thats nuts! This is why as much as I want high CPs i am going to go with low
Also I went to pedastels and they quoted me 1k more than Burtons for the same exact things... so maybe try them too...

you might want to consider high and low cp mixed it could make a huge difference in the amount of $ and it still looks gorgeous

Well you have to consider your draping...that's where the extra dough is coming in...I definitely think you should stick owth Pedestals for your centerpieces.
However for the draping, you might want to check out NY Lounge Decor. They are doing wall draping and uplighting for me and have been the lowest I have found and are a reputable company.

I don't know if you are getting uplighting from pedestlas as well but I know when I contacted the company they work with it was way more than what NY Lounge quoted me..Also you should def give them a price that you were quoted(or a little less) and they will give you a better quote
