First of all, congrats!
These boards are very helpful. What kind of hall are you looking for? Where? How much?

Hi and thanks, well a friend of mine told me about Flowerfields, it would be nice if we could do it by the water, but its not a must. This will probably be one of the hard parts huh?

How is the east end caterers? Food? Room? Grounds?
Congratulations!!!! The first thing you need to do is get a rough idea of how many people you are inviting. Once you know that you can categorize halls by their minimums and maximums.

Thanks ladies, think we'll have around 170 people, there are so many places to check out. Congrats to you all!

I may be biased, but I think you should definately check out flowerfields. They were more than I wanted to spend, but I fell in love with it. I'm just trying to cut corners in other areas. Good Luck...some other nice places I saw included Thatched Cottage and Land's End.

Congrats!!! My vote is for Flowerfield! Definetly check it out. Or another great place is Land's End if you want by the water.

Congratulations on your engagement, and welcome to the boards! You will find lots of help here,
Obviously I am biased to Flowerfield, but if you want by the water, check out Lands End. They are catered by the same people as Flowerfield, so you'll get the same amazing food and service. Deciding on a budget is a good start. Then start checking out places in your price range. There are lots of great places for all price ranges.
Good luck!
