Jay, my FH was raised by his grandpa. He hasn't seen him in about 4 years. Grandpa hasn't been in the best of health but is doing well for a man of his age....he just turned 98 on Thursday!! I know that Jay loves his grandpa to death, so I just ordered airline tickets (behind Jay's back of course) for him to come up for the wedding. I ended paying for his uncle's ticket too due to the fact that grandpa can't get around like he used to. (A small price to pay to see the look on FH's face )
I even called the tuxedo rental and they told me that if grandpa gets fitted on thursday (the day that he's flying in, they'll have a tux ready for him on Saturday morning before the wedding

He's definately gonna cry. I was gonna wait for grandpa to make his 'grand entrance' at the wedding but I figured it would be too much for FH to handle all in one day, so I'm bringing him to the RD instead
